another post from me... tis time i promise its short. anyway, i was bored (couldnt sleep on the stupid hot bus) and started tinking abt how best to describe change, since we experience them at every moment, but hardly anyone bothers to spare a second to tink abt it...(pardon me for my obvious lack of ability to construct a rhyming and flowing poem).... i prefer prose but bio (reluctantly) needs my time more now...

at the rate the class blog posts are going this can be my 2nd blog alr. T.T or 3rd. or 4th. owell. wadever. i have alot of blogs that went down cus of unstable hosts owells. hehehe.

yeayea. just to inform u pple about err myself. [haha bhb] more about my condition lar in case anyone of u are wondering what happened to me last week...

platelet level dropped to 11k. dangerous level la basically. so i got admitted for the IVIg drip again.

oh yea just some interesting stuff that i encountered. or witnessed during my stay... i was in a B1 ward [cus no more B2 beds heh] and there were 4 patients la. the one opposite me has cancerous cells in her COLON. and she has leukemia. so she has to remove part of her colon before she can go for chemo.. cus if the cancer cells at the colon spread during chemo it'd complicate the condition... anw. removal of colon is actually kind of gross. cus it means tt there'd be a cut and thus need time to recover right. so cannot allow shit to pass through in case it leaks. so they have to connect another path from a upper portion of her colon OUT from her abdomen to clear her faeces. omg sounded damn gross... >.<

den the one next to me.. quite sad la. shes i think. 6 weeks pregnant? and she went for usual checkups la. for pregnant women. den went for blood test.. and her platelet count was 3k! omg la single digit. even mine's not that bad. and shes PREGNANT. so yea. quite a tough case. cus the medicine that im taking now's quite strong... cannot anyhow prescribe to a pregnant woman... so she has to choose whether or not to take away the child. actually. it's kind of a hobsons choice i think. heard shes going fer operation to remove the foetus on tues. sigh. damn sad. she stayed in hospital for 3 weeks alr.... and her platelet level's still single digit... sighhh.

anyway. i've more or less decided to go for splenectomy. which means removal of spleen. it's a keyhole surgery. meaning they'd just make a few incisions on my abdomen so it's not a very major surgery dun nid to worry too much about me ahha. takes about a week to recover.

okay actually thats what i'm worried about. looking at my current blocks results [T.T] and the time left till prelims [around 50+ days?!] and the rate of my revision. omg. i need to stay in hospital for a total of 10 days for the surgery.. and i kind of want it done before prelims cus i wan to stop medication asap [side effects suck big time]

sigh.

dunno larhs. hope i can pull through prelims w okay grades.

anyway. lets all jiayous and start to pia for prelims!!!! prelims is NOT very far away. although we havent really finished the syllabus. [which is another worrying point for me argggh dun wan to miss content lectures!]

ahaha the blog's quite barren liao.. nvm i shall add someting tats again quite irrelevent to anyting goin on in class... =)mebe cos im too lazy to create and maintain my own blog....

some pple say tat dreams gives u a sneak peak into the future. Yet others say the future's unpredictable. It seems as though everyone's got a different insight to wat exactly fate is. well.. im not exacly trying to impose my views onto anyone's, jus offering mine =) watever it is, u cant deny its fate tat led u to open tis website to see wat i jus typed when i was bored and sick of hw (again).

btw... groove coverage jus released a new album for 2006 =)AHAH so now im feeling like writing crap while i let tis wave of electronic euphoria rush over me...... well, i jus love trance/techno, not cos im some wild freak, but for its artistic and beautiful theme...

Mebe I unconsciously have bottled up these precious tings in little bottles, or have bound them to the countless red saga seeds tat I used to collect in primary school under that tree in the old NYGH campus. Someday i hope to be able to tie a single, unique saga seed to the face of each and every person tat has touched my life in any way, but i do concede its impossible =) ill make do with mebe 1/4?

class lunch at friends in cine was quite fun!!! although the food isnt exactly very very extremely nice.. hahahaha. me zp and charl ordered this black pepper chicken leg thing and they forgot to give us the sauce. so we were like huhhh wheres the black pepper sauce. the waiter was quite embarrassed i think zzz. and i actually thought that the chicken leg amk lib cafe serve taste better =S... breaded chicken that liqian and many others ordered look overfried [it's like. DARK BROWN].. and they mixed up the orders [wedges instead of cheedar-cheese fries?]

the service was quite bad too... maybe cus they dun charge service charge. but seriously! it's basic courtesy larhs. cus we ate the set lunch thing. they stated there have free flow soup and coffee, tea or soft drinks. sounded quite ambiguous. like. issit soup + beverage or soup OR beverage. so we were like discussing. and this female waiter was standing next to our table facing away larhs. but she was sort of glancing at us. den i wanted to clarify w her. so i said excuse me. den she didnt even bother to move or to acknowledge that shes listening or wadever. so im like. did she hear me am i supposed to call her again. den i stare at her. and she was so obviously looking at us.. and shes like less than 2m away frm me so obviously she could hear us. anw i just asked the qn and she gave me a snappy reply. omg lar i was like ?!! T.T zzzzzz. nvm.

okayokay the nice thing about the lunch was the GAMES muahahahahhahahaha. i played english checkers w charl and lost. cus i didnt bother to strategise. =S den we played uno stacko!!!! muahahahaha. zhipeng is lousyyyy. i helped him get one out and he toppled the entire thing while placing it at the top. and he blamed me for killing him ?!?!! ahahhaha. [cus i was before him] lolx. and ARGGGGGGH 4 people before me took 'draw 2' [which means all the draw 2s were alr drawn arggggh.] and i ended up having to draw 8 when the entire tower was alr super duper unstable. den i sort of cheated by using 2 hands instead of 1.. HEHE. but i didnt hold the entire thing lar -duh- and i managed to get 6 out!!! omggggg but at the 7th one it toppled. =C uno stacko is nice!!! :):):):):):):):):) i shall just go back for the games. but we were quite noisy i think hahahahaha. =X

oh mans im going back cine again tmr for cca outing. and i just went cine on tues too. zzz this week is cine week manssss. =S

it's err. pseudo-postBT alr ahhahaha. okays it's not post BT yet still must study physics. sigh. hopefully can help to make up for the marks lost in paper 1 and 2. but i still have no idea how paper 3 is like O.o owells.
